Adoramos nos hospedar numa casa antiga, de pedra! O terraço da um toque especial à acomodação! Lugar bem central, muito agradável para caminhar. O café da manhã é servido numa padaria perto, e nós amamos tanto a comida quanto o lugar!

A dona do apartamento não fala inglês e não tem internet na acomodação!

The property is located at the centre of Martano, very near to all restaurants and cafe. Staying at an old palazzo is an experience itself. There is an independent entrance and a very nice stone balcony, overlooking a yard. The bed was comfortable.

Firstly, the staff. As a traveller, i have stayed in a lot of houses but i have never come across such a rude behaviour. The landlord just informed me that the key is on the door and i had to check, at night, all the doors to find the right one. As our reservation included breakfast, i was the one who had to ask where the breakfast will be served (the breakfast finally is served in a near coffee shop and it includes a coffee and a croissant). At our first night, we realised that there were no toiletries such as shampoo, hand soap and dishwashing soap (as mentioned in the reservation). Moreover, the water from the shower was not going away and we have to wait for almost an hour for the second tenant to have a bath. When we sent this very kind message “Good morning. Is there any supermarket near as there weren’t any toiletries as shampoo in the room? Moreover, i just want to inform you that the water from the bath cabin is going away very slow and it is gathering a lot while we take a bath”, we received this:”From yesterday to today you have asked for 2 million things. I believe you have internet, you can solve the problem by yourself. As for water, we also have the same problem, it doesn't depend on us.Enjoy your stay”. However, it depended on them, since we opened the shower drain, we cleaned it ourselves and the problem was solved.

The location was perfect for us. Also the fact that we could park our Camper outside the premises. The person renting was very pleasant and forthcoming. The price was attractive.

The days we were there was quite cold for this season and the A/C could not heat the apartment enough. The were not hangers on the wardrobe to hang our clothes. The windows and doors, being of an old building were not isolated leaving the cold wind in. The TV had no reception and the circuit breaker was popping out when both plates in the kitchen were turned on. The mother of the Landlady, taking care of the house, was furious about that although they never warned us that this was the case.
