VIP Paradise Apartment

Great location and view. Had everything you could need.

The host was extremely communicative and clear about everything. He even sent pictures to go with each step of instructions. The indoor reserved parking spot was a life saver. We also had to ask to stay an extra night due to a medical issue and he was kind and accommodating.

My daughter and I only used the two twin beds in the one bedroom. I am a little spoiled and missed the comfort of a mattress topper. Nothing kept either of us awake though!

Location, facilities & view

The location was great ... easy access to the beach and the town centre.

I struggled to find the place. I was at the right spot, but the name is not very easy to see ... Name on the building is VIP Baie .. not VIP Paradise Apartments as I was expecting.

Lovely view over sea but flat is in a town location. There was a delightful beach only 5min walk but we visited in December, I’m not sure I would want to visit in the busy summer period.

I was worried about fire safety on 2 counts: 1) some of the Fire Safety doors between lift and flats were left open on some floors. 2) the Fire Safety door on the ground floor (which is also the main Fire Exit route) was usually left open. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, if the door swung shut we could not open it from either side (we HAD TO USE THE LIFT on 2 occasions, which of course in the case of a fire we should not do)

Great views on 2 sides, the balcony got the sun most of the day, very clean apartment with all the kitchen equipment you could wish for plus a washing machine, deep sink and tumble dryer. The underground garage was useful but the space is quite small so not ideal for a very large car. Beach towels are provided to use at the nearby sandy beach. I felt very safe here due to the locked entrance door. The host was very good at communicating, and there was a welcome tray of food and fruit which was lovely.

A tiny comment - I would have liked a washing up bowl to wash all the dishes that don't go into the dishwasher. Or a plug in the kitchen sink.

16-23 November. Flat very large with a nice view of the ocean. The flat has everything you need and what you might need but don't know about it yet :) quiet and peaceful place by the beach. The advantage is the free parking space and the washing machine and dryer for laundry.

A little weak light in the bathroom which interferes when shaving.
