Apartment Alameda with Sea View

Very spacious, clean and central.

I would bring my own pillow, just particular that way. Could use another more comfortable sofa or two.

Very central base for walking.Everthing you could need was in the apartment. A home away from home. Very spacious apartment with a large balcony that had multiple views. Good snack bars restaurants within 100 mtr.Enjoyed the stay.Well done to host Marcos

Location was good. Needed help finding exact location. A neighbor helped me call the property manager.

Advertised as allergy-free. I found 4 scented candles and room fresheners. Towels were heavily scented. My allergies were very bad while I was in the apartment.

The location is amazing...very close to the beach, shops, restaurants and bus stop. Good public transport connection. 5-7 min drive to the airport. Taxi is available as well if needed. Reasonable prices for transport and food. Friendly people, amazing weather and stunning views and landscape. Spacious and comfortable apartment with all necessary for living ....plates, glasses, pans, etc....

One of toilets smells

Very bad experience, we arrived close to midnight with a small child, it was very dark with limited street lighting and we were unable to locate the property, called the owner many times via whatsapp and mobile, no answer. At around 1am, we stopped a car passing by, the driver is a local who helped us find the property. The property is next to a roundabout with 5 streets attached to it, there are dozens blocks of apartments looking the same/similar. None of the streets have any signs. We used google map, still can't find the exact location. I messaged the owner before arrival and asked him to keep his phone on in case of emergence. Clearly he does not care! I called Booking the next day and cancelled the reservation, then the owner pulled his finger out and messaged me via whatsapp. No apologies from the owner and he blame all on us! We are absolutely disgusted! We have been to Madeira many times, this is the first time we have ever complained about anyone in Madeira! The property is on the first floor, you need to climb 20 stairs to get there, no lift. There was lots of drilling going on within the block, lasted for the whole day of Sat. It is a shop downstairs being renovated.

Super centre of Machico. We were literary over the main square. Also great views and 2min from the beach were a perfect match for the value.

The location in the immediate center of Machico and by the sea was great. The apartment and terrace were spacious.

If you stay here in the wintertime it can be quite humid and chill. Fortunately there was one radiator which was enough for us.
