Casa al Sole

The scenery was magnificent. Apartment had windows with the panoramic view. Outside tables were positioned nicely to see the scenery. Beautiful greenery about.

The hike down to town may be too strenuous for some. We could not get the clothes washer to work. Possibly because we couldn’t understand the controls.

The view is exceptional. The location is very handy to town centre. The size of apartment was much bigger than expected. Very comfortable place to stay with all the amenities of an apartment. deck area to sit and watch the great view.

Nothing for us. But worth noting that if you have mobility issues there are steps up to house that can’t be avoided. And lots of steps down to village (although could drive down)

Prachtige locatie en wat een uitzicht! Heel goed uitgerust appartement. Wasmachine die we konden gebruiken.

Heel veel trappen, niet gemakkelijk met een klein kindje 😉

Spektakulärer Blick auf den Luganersee! Sehr gemütliches Apartment mit eigenem Parkplatz, sehr gut ausgestatteter Küche und 1A Lage in Morcote - so gut wie alles vor Ort, insbesondere Restaurants zu Fuß erreichbar!

Die hervorragende Lage und der super Ausblick über den See. Auch die Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut.

On this our second visit to Morcote we greatly enjoyed our week’s stay at Casa al Sole - and never tired of its wonderful views over Lake Lugano. The interior of the apartment is extremely spacious, well-equipped and maintained - and the owner was very helpful with special requests. Nearby parking is handy for guests with a car. For those without, the steps up from the waterfront will ensure much improved fitness by the end of their stay!

Unlike the high standard of interior of the apartment, by complete contrast the outside garden area felt somewhat neglected.and in need of serious TLC.

Absolutely love this place - rustic Italian meets Milanese contemporary in the most divine location with views from every room. Perfect for our stay and only regret being we couldn’t stay longer. Stunning! Parking also easy and very close to the apartment. Morcote and this place was a true gem in early summer.

The views are amazing! The location is great, easy parking, nice interior decor and the kitchen is well equipped.
