I liked that it was spacious, that all the facilities worked, that it looked exactly as it looked in the pictures, that the aircon worked and it was over all a wonderful clean place.

That there was no smart TV and that that we had an entire day of load shedding

I made contact with the owner a week before checkin to pay the deposit. After that and during my stay I was able to contact him via Whastapp. The keys were easy to collect from the garage. All appliances worked (except TV in the bedroom which seems a long standing issue from a previous review). The wifi was a bit unstable at times, but then also the usual service provider networks on our cellphones at the same time, so it must have been a connection issues affecting the area. The unit offers an impressive amount of storage space. Everything was exceptionally clean. Towels were provided. Unfortunately we were subjected to an area power outage for 27 hours. This was a teaching experience for me, so in future I will look for accomodation with some sort of back up power. The security was friendly and helpful. The pool was good. We slept with the balcony door open every night - and it was perfectly safe. Shoprite/Kwikspar/Barcelo's/Tiago's - all on your (back) door step!
