Lancing beach apartment.

Location is amazing. Right on the beach. Like being on a boat. The restaurant (and cafe) underneath is brilliant - only open breakfast and lunch - everything we had there was delicious. The main room is living/kitchen/dining - very big. Full length french windows onto balcony hanging over beach. There is a full bathroom and additional loo. The large public car park is opposite and easy to pay for full day parking. There is a parkrun by front door on Saturdays. There is a skate park very close.

The doubles are on the small side. I think they could have got larger beds into the bedrooms.

It would be 5 star but for two BIG issues. The kitchen was terrible - fridge dripping water internally on to food, dishwasher broken and full of stagnant water, hob unusable as too complex. Nice couple lived next door, and lovely dog. But they went out and left it unattended and continually barking - for 4 hours on what became my last day, as I left 2 days early as noise too distracting - I went there for quiet. Beds might be too small for some people, but not a terrible problem.

Apartment and the views were brilliant!

The apartment was everything I hoped for a quiet getaway and the location right on the beach really fed the soul. The balcony was fabulous overlooking the sea with tame Starlings you could actually hand feed. The restaurant/cafe "perch" directly below is the place to go on the beach at Lancing with great food at good prices and, although it was always fairly busy there was no noise coming into the apartment. There was nowhere closer to the sea.... not even the be each huts.

This property was just what we were looking for. A short family getaway on the beach. The weather was perfect, so we could open the doors and let the sea air in.

Smell at the entry between the two apartments, it creeped in one night when it rained and we couldn't have the sky lights open.

Electronics a little complicated Heating system hard to control fridge a bit strange (warm inside)? TV non terrestrial
