Apartman Sandro

This is lovely, clean, spcious and well appointed apartment in the country near Motovun. Our host was very friendly and accommodating and our stay was very pleasant. The property is near the Tomaz winery and it has easy access to the shuttle to Motovun.

The view, the nice and friendly landlord

Very clean. We were warmly welcomed despite being covered in mud from a full day's bicycle ride. We rinsed off outside and kept all mud from inside the apartment. We pride ourselves on being fastidious guests and we kept everything neat and clean. We were allowed to store bicycles under cover overnight.

Everything started off well but something happened. In the morning, we stored all of our belongings in our packs near the door and put our damp shoes outside along the curb in the sun to dry. I emailed the hosts asking if we could leave our things so we could visit the medieval town 1.5km away and we asked verbally. All was good. At 11:15 am we returned to the apartment to find the owners cleaning it, we asked to use the bathroom and packed our bikes outside. The hosts starting arguing, we were scowled at and they placed a mop across the porch to let us know we were unwelcome. As stated earlier, the apartment was immaculate, dishes washed, towels in the washing machine. We honestly do not know why we were so poorly treated.
