Pico de Loro Jacana B

The room was very sizable. There were 5 of us and we were able to sleep comfortably. We needed a car to go from one place to another because we have someone who is wheelchair bound. Amenities were nice such as the pool and beach.

The shower room is showing wear and tear. The beach was not the best anymore compared to the last time i was there in pico de loro

The room itself was a spacious, comfortable bed, with complete kitchen utensils. Drinking water is provided although you have to pay an extra 50 pesos per gallon but good enough for our 3-night stay. Overall, it was a good place and affordable.

The water in the shower, sink, and CR. In the morning its color is brown, but my technique is just to leave it open for a couple of minutes and later on becomes clear. Normal for a deep well source of water. However, they supplied drinking water for 50 pesos a galloon which was good enough for the number of days in our stay we weren't able to empty the galloon for 3 nights of our stay. And their shower too has a heater, although a bit old already. But overall, our stay has no issues and we are happy about it.

The staff was there to assist us as soon as we arrived. The apartment was basic but had the essentials. The place was spacious and had extra mattress. I love the balcony. We enjoyed having breakfast there.

The entire apartment smelled like humidity, as well as the bedsheets and blankets. They smelled old. Looked like they haven't been used for months. The utensils smelled very humid as well. The water coming out of the tap was brown sometimes (although I wouldn't blame this on the host). The microwave was turning on but not heating up at all. WIFI was not always working too.
