Apartamento Figueiras

Comfortable stay, spacious, clean, quiet. Nice to have 2 bathrooms for the family to share. Easy to walk to the beach from the apartment.

Struggled to find place initially but met up with owners representative who took us to the apartment.

The property was great, it is central to many restaurants and tourist attractions (about a 15 min walk to Sitio and about a 10 min walk to Nazaré beach). The location/address itself was slightly difficult to find but a Google maps link was provided during check-in which helped and we were met at the property by Suzanne who showed us the parking and provided a full tour of the property. Private parking with the unit was so convenient especially in Portugal where parking in city centers is very difficult to find even in the off-season. We drove an SUV and it fit perfectly. It's safe and secure and was perfect for the few days we were there. The unit itself was exactly as described. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, livingroom, full kitchen, and washing machine. We found it quite humid in Portugal but hanging our clothes on the clothes line on the balcony seemed to dry them ok. The owner left complimentary coffee and tea which was great in the mornings. There were grocery stores within a 5-10 minute walk from the unit which was helpful for breakfast and lunch. There were also many restaurants along the beach which were great for dinner. A highlight was the multiple wall outlets near the beds. It has been difficult to find wall outlets in most accommodations in Portugal, especially plugs that are close to the bed to charge cell phones, etc. However, this unit had plenty in convenient spots.

The unit was everything we needed. Very safe and convenient with secure private parking and in a great spot. We would definitely return. Two minor things to note: (1) This unit is on the top floor (floor 2) of the apartment complex and there is no elevator. From the parking garage (floor -1) it's three flights of stairs up to the unit. From the ground floor (floor 0) where you can exit/enter along the Sitio path, it is two flights of stairs up to the unit. (2) The unit had liquid hand soap but no shampoo/conditioner/body wash.

Good location. Secure parking. Very quiet. Lovely views.
