Casa dos Pexins

The unit is one block from the beautiful beach and promenade. It was very clean and spacious. It comes equipped with everything you need for a nice short-term or long-term holiday (appliances, dishes, furniture, etc). It's 4-5 blocks from the heart of town. You can see the beach/water from the family room of the unit. The owner was very helpful and met us at the unit. It is on the 2nd floor (not - zero level is the ground floor). There is an elevator (if needed) and street parking (we took Rede Expressos from Lisbon Sete Rios so we did not need parking). Great restaurants (salmon at Tabernassa = fantastic!), pastry shops, gelato shops, and markets all within 6 blocks (walking distance). The historic old town up on the cliff is just a hike (moderate to intense) or a lift ride away (definitely go up there!)

The zero level lobby inside the entrance smelled like mildew on arrival, but the 2nd floor (and the unit) did not. Some of the doors and door knobs in the unit are very creaky and squeaky, creating unwanted noise when used (maybe some oil/lubrication would solve?). No screens on the windows or sliding doors (we had some mosquitos fly in from the nearby fields when we had windows or sliding doors open to enjoy the ocean breezes). Some street noise during the day, not much at night. Walls seem very thin. Cracks in walls (foundation shifting?).

Really nice location and accomodations. It had everything you could want or ask for and was very clean. Would recomend this place to anyone. A great price for a top self location and accomodation.

The property was well equipped and very clean. Location was near the end of the strip but very near the restaurant and entertainment areas.
