I had a fantastic one-day stay at Anchorage Holiday Apartment. The apartment was excellent, offering a clean and modern environment. The peaceful surroundings made for a relaxing experience. It had a well-equipped kitchen and provided all necessary amenities. The apartment included a comfortable bedroom, a cozy living room with a TV and sofa, and everything we needed. Mr. Kasun, the manager, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. I highly recommend this property.

The bed was really comfy. The kitchen has a big fridge and all equipments you need. Strong Wi-Fi. Very helpful & caring manager. Close to supermarket and airport. I really recommend this place!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Anchorage Holiday Apartments in Negombo and I must say it was a delightful experience. The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and other attractions in Negombo. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist with any requests or queries we had. The highlight of our stay was the amazing rooftop terrace, which offers stunning views of the sea and the surrounding area. We've been to 2 different rooms at the start and an end of the journey. For 3 weeks in between the host could keep our luggage with winter clothes at no extra charge. The host is awesome to let us into the room much earlier than check-in time. It's possible because there are many rooms in the hotel, and a good chance one was empty the day before. Very clean rooms. Of 8 places, such clean place we've seen only twice. The AC and a kettle were helpful. In one room we've seen an electric stove, but didn't use it. Location is great in terms that it is calm (not always the case in Sri Lanka) and relatively close to the airport to cost 1100-1500 LKR (~4 USD) to get by a taxi. Keep in mind, taxis near the airport charge 2-3 times more. Don't feed the vultures! With the availability of PickMe and Uber apps, it's cheap to get anywhere by TukTuk, like to the market on the last day of journey.

For a group of 3, the 3rd bed isn't a sofa, as one can imagine, but a mattress that can be put on the floor. Unfortunately, the sofa on the photos is made entirely out of concrete and can't be moved. It's not a problem if you are 2 person group or for a 1-night stay, but keep in mind if you are more.
