The flat is in a perfect spot in Newport overlooking the water. The flat also overlooks a road bridge which was only busy at peak times and did not disturb us in the evenings or overnight. The flat is quirky, comfortable and well thought out to ensure visitors have a pleasant stay. We had easy parking right outside of the flat. A fabulous base to explore Newport and the island. Jo was a great host with prompt responses to messages and questions.

Great little flat with everything you need. Perfect location for easy access to buses to get around the Isle of Wight without a car.

As others have already said, reading in bed is awkward with the little lights.

Beautifully appointed property. Clean. Gorgeously decorated and close to amenities but still peaceful, with lovely views of the estuary, short walk to bus station so easy to get around. Happy recommend and will hopefully be back soon 😄

We didn't mind it but if you struggle with stairs you might not get on with how narrow and steep they are. Don't let it put you off. Just something to be aware of.

Great location near to shops and places to eat. The host was quick to respond, thoughtful in providing bread and milk etc and very easy to deal with. Parking was very convenient being directly outside. Great base for a holiday on the Isle of Wight.

minor point but WiFi didnt reach the bathroom, I was able to move the AP a bit and fixed the issue

It is a lovely apartment that was so clean and tidy. It's right in the town centre with a view up the Quay. Bread, milk and biscuits was a nice bonus to see. Would highly recommend.

It would be great to have a bath and not just a shower. The old small spiral staircase up to the entrance was a nice old feature for me, but my nan struggled to get up them just incase u struggle with stairs.

Clean and well equipped appartement in a historic building. It has a lovely english design. We liked the short walk to the city centre of Newport. The Isle of Wight has a highly developed bus network and its central node is only a 10 mins walk. For us the Doplhin was a perfect basis for discovering the island without bringing a car.
