Quaint and cozy place with good facilities and a great central location. A lot of thoughtful details. Accommodating host who was very responsive which was great. An excellent relaxing break, will definitely be back !

The charm, comfort and care that had gone in to the property; its decoration, equipment and attentive but discreet hosting. Quite exceptional.

Location was central overlooking the quay (nice to watch swans from upstairs bedroom) and on doorstep to all restaurants and shops and provided easy entry to and from Newport to other parts of the island. The owner has gone to a lot of trouble to make the place comfy and welcoming with an added playful artistic flair.

Location was fabulous ,for us a wedding at the Quay Arts,but it’s also centrally located for lots of days out activities ,shops are close by, and a few pubs and restaurants ,bike hire,etc. Fantastic base for a holiday.Host communication from Jo was great,kids loved finding the fabulous hidden bedroom,was a great design,lovely extra welcome touches like milk,butter,bread,Tea and coffee and biscuits were much appreciated.Great information available, gorgeous flat ,very clean.Everything you need for a holiday!

jo was an excellent host . she was very accommodating . fine details were taken care of in the accomodation . i found the Decore very tastefully done . i would definetely recommend it to anyone who has good aesthetic sense . location was excellent for me as I was staying for wok and it was a 20 min walk from there . there is a large LIdl just few min away which is handy and center of new port is walking distance .

stairs were a bit narrow but we didn’t have elderly or children with us so it worked well for me

Very cosy venue for our autumn holiday, with oodles of character and great decor. Newport has an excellent bus service so it was a great base for accessing the entire island. It was fab that the hosts were flexible enough to let us book only six nights rather than seven as plenty of places would only have allowed booking the whole week.

The lighting is all quite subtle - lamps rather than ceiling lights - which very occasionally felt just a tad dark. But for an October holiday, that made it feel cosy too, so not a big deal!
