Perfect location, only 5 minutes from Lido beach, Angiolina park and the best restaurants in Opatija. The property owner is a very nice and welcoming lady who made us feel like we were at home. The apartment is very quiet and comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped.

very humid flat, very uncomfortable. I didn't expect a semi-basement flat

The kitchen is very well equipped: dishwasher, two types of coffe machines, microwave, fridge, oven, stovetop and kitchenware more than enough. There were some capsules for the coffe machine, which is very nice. The bathroom is nice, big enough, with washing machine, bide, shower, big mirror, small mirror and it has it's own heating device, which is also working well. Hot water comes at once. The living room is big enough, and the furniture is new and nice. Big table with cosy chairs, and two sofas. Great. Wifi is working good.

The matraces in the bed are way too soft - at least for us. There were no tablets for the dishwasher at all, so we could not use it. There were absolutely no bed linen in the apartment. We had a sheet and a blanket, but no bed linen. In october the nights are not that warm... Due to the area characteristics half of the apartment is first floor, but the other half is in fact in the basement. That means, that if you look out of the bedroom window, you'll see walls. That is not a huge problem, but the description does not mention it, which is to be corrected. Parking is a nightmare. If you have a bigger car than the average, just as we do, then it is almost impossible to park. The parking place is like 2,5 meters wide, so we could hardly open the door of the car. We had to turn around on the top of the street, which is in fact the main street, so it was quite difficult and dangerous. Then we had to reverse down the narrow street, and then turn in reverse next to the building, which is also difficult. All this fussle, because if we went ahead, then we would absolutely not be able to get our bags to the apartment, because there is not enough space between the car and the wall. The apartment is one house below the main road. On the terrace you can constantly hear the cars going by. Luckily, the bedroom is in the basement part, so it was much quiter. The bedroom wall (which is under the ground) is not so well insulated, the plaster is coming off the wall behind the bed. The bedroom is so small, that you can't even properly open the door, because there is the bed. Someone over 100 kg can hardly step next to the bed, because the place is so narrow. This is not really obvious if you see just the photos.

Great apartment with great hosts. It is very clean, everything is at hand, very good air conditioning and heating. Beautiful terrace and garden. Perfect location and wonderful surroundings. I recommend it to everyone and see you soon!
