Domus Orvieto

Beautiful large space in the center of Orvieto, close to excellent restaurants and the Piazza DelDuomo! We didn’t expect it to be so spacious but it was huge! It was also very luxurious feeling.

It was hard to get into the property initially. There is a very small sign on the door. The host told us we had to check in after 3:00 rather than 2:30 as was advertised. When we arrived after 3 there was no one there to greet us, we had to wait close to 20 minutes for the host to let us into the property. We also stayed here during a big heat wave and the room was extremely hot even with the fan on in the room. I don’t think the host advertised AC so this was our fault for not staying in a place with AC.

I loved the location and the help I received checking in. I had been previously traveling with friends and had a difficult time-sized car and heavy baggage. Assistance on arrival was critical to a quick entry and orientation.

I wish there was air conditioning, but it was manageable since the humidity was low during my stay, and I was able to keep the windows and top exhaust open overnight and lock it all up during the day to maximize cool air and with the fans.

The apartment is an excellent location just a minute or two from the cathedral. There are many very good cafes and restaurants close by. The apartment was very clean & tidy and the host a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend

Perfect position in the middle of town, lovely owners who were very patient with my lack of Italian. The apartment is very well stocked - everything I needed was there, and more besides!

The shower head has personality!

We could not access the property. Phoned several times. Had to book in somewhere else and they even tried phoning the contact with no success.

Mancanza di parcheggio nelle vicinanze. L unico vicino c è l orario disco.
