Apartments Sea View Otranto by Professione Vacanze

The location across from beach was fabulous, the apartment is modern and clean with all you need to self cater. There are 2 air conditioners which can be directed depending on your needs. Washing machine and clothes airer just make life so much easier. Restaurants everywhere and a couple of supermarkets a few minutes away. Matteo was responsive by WhatsApp when we had questions.

The Balcony, and the view of the sea

When we arrived the floors were dirty. (That got fixed) We cleaned the shower head to get water out. We cleaned the balcony. There are a noise from both outside (because the fan in the bathroom is installed wrong so you can hear the street/beach in the sleeping area. And the unit, is inside a once big apartment made into 3. This means that you can hear the other people coming and going very clearly. Looking doors etc. from the hallway. The door into the units you can only open and close with a key. That broke and we were stuck in an hour and the couple outside could not get in. The pull out bed is very bad. You can feel the springs. There is only two cups, no reel kitchen knife or wine glasses. The unit has no doors between the rooms.

Location was perfect! Apartment had a wonderful location and view directly across from the beach / bay. Apartment was very modern and comfortable with a well equiped kitchen, bathroom, washer and large balcony with beach view. Beds are very comfortable and clean. Public parking and several supermarkets (Eurospin,Conad, & Dok) are within 5 minutes walking distance. Don't be afraid of getting out of town such as the small baroque town of Maglie which is highly recommended. Lecce is about 45 minutes away.

Nothing - all was good except we would have liked a fixed shower head in the bath instead of hand held - showing our age!

Excellent location overlooking the beach

Right above the beach, with the sun setting in front. And a few minutes away from the historical center. The apartment is spacious, furbished and clean. The host Matteo was nice and helpful.

The apartment is a 10 minutes walk from the charming little Otranto train station. I was met by the owner who had the keys for me, showed me where things were then departed. The apartment is well set out, bed area with ensuite, then a kitchen/dining/living area ....... but the best thing about it , in my view, is the large ( compared to most others in Italy ) balcony that directly overlooks the beach and sea beyond. Fantastic. The kitchen was adequately equipped, bed comfy, good shower ...... a nice place. The main tourist site ( castle and duomo ) are a 10 minute stroll along the front. At the time of year I visited, I got good VFM.

Had to wait a little time for the owner to arrive ......... but had the sea and beautiful scene to look at while I did so. No other issues at all.
