"Small but spacious and cozy place to stay"

The house has nice layout and design: on small space you get spacious accomodation with a bed accesible through wooden stairs, small but cozy living room, bath and kitchen. Everything is nicely restored and thought through.

Kitchen equipment is rather poor: 2 persons have to share one cup, one bowl + there is no real knife. Breakfast was originally pretty symbolic (1 small croissant, coffee), but the owner was flexible and brought us more stuff for the breakfast (very nice)

I felt the breakfast could have offered more choice - but when I did mention this to Alessandro / Alex he did helpfully provide alternatives

Lack of detailed information about how to find the apartment [Alex met me at the airport so it wasn't a problem - but it would have been otherwise] / Lack of detailed information on local bars, restaurants, events, etc [the district, Oreto, has no social life though Via Maqueda - 1 km away - has lots. It would have been helpful to know this at the outset] / the redlined could be improved. I mentioned to Alex the benefit of a duvet and I hope he will respond positively.
