The location of Geranio blu is ideal for any tourists to Palermo who want to be close to the walking center, the stores, the restaurants, museums, galleries, and theaters (Massimo Theater being only a 10-minute walk away.) The owners were very nice, greeted us kindly, and replied back to our questions very quickly. The rooms were all very clean when we arrived and good instructions were provided on a map for convenient locations to grocery stores and restaurants. There were also instructions for garbage disposal as the various recycling types are disposed of on different days of the week.

This isn't a big dislike but since I had a car with us, the public parking was hard to find even with great instructions from the owners. This isn't a dislike of the property itself, more to advise others that should they have a car, it can be a bit of a hassle to find a good public parking spot. We had to find places outside of the blue parking zone which meant a 5-15 minute walk to the location. The walking wasn't the problem though, it was the 30 minutes of searching and circling the areas to know if we were in a blue zone or an unmarked public zone. One dislike of the location is that the stove fan and light fixture didn't work and so cooking made for a smokier experience than anticipated. Opening the door or window quickly resolved the issue but since there isn't an oven and most things cooking in a pan require some oil, it made for a few meals needing the windows to be opened to not keep too much smoke in the apartment.

Excellent location: not in the heart of the tourist district, but rather on a quiet side street in a nearby neighborhood that is walking distance from everything. Close to supermarket, pharmacy, and train/metro stop.

No complaints.

"Exceptional"

Guisi was great host, and adorable lady. She gave us nice quick guide for the whole city. Gave us maps, informations and beautiful canoles. Flat is on a nice location, in peaceful part of the city. It was really comfortable and spacious, with nice little balcony, and even rooftop space for chilling. We highly recommend this to everyone 😊
