Location was very good.

The description on booking.com clearly stated that there were two bedrooms and a living room. This is not true. There was one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. To get to the bathroom at night, the guests in the bedroom had to go through the living room and this woke other people up. Not a good situation. The description needs to be changed as it is very misleading.

So very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It has a fully equipped little kitchen and Max kindly supplied bottled water. The location is ideal. La Brace, a grill restaurant is around the corner. Super delicious grilled chicken for a mere 4e! A family run grocery store is at the corner. it's a 5 min walk to Teatro Massimo where we started our circuit to explore the city. the neighborhood was straight out a Fellini movie - totally authentic. we enjoyed an excellent time based at Casa Colorata. thank you, Max!

Before I booked Casa Colorata I read the reviews. Sometimes you find gems like this on Booking.com, inexpensive with exceptional reviews. Believe those reviews. Casa Colorata is a gem. Max is an incredible host. He was so helpful and friendly. He made us feel welcome, safe and looked after us during our stay in Palmero. The apartment was pristine. Max provides bottled water, coffee, sugar and all the essentials for cooking in the small but functional kitchen. The main bedroom is beautifully decorated with a small balcony. The 3rd member of our group slept on the sofa bed, which she reported was very comfortable. There is also a small balcony off the main room. The bathroom is adjacent to the main living area and is small but clean and modern. The shower worked well, we had no problems with any water pressure, despite the apartment being on the 4th floor. Probably the only thing that may deter elderly guests is the steps up to the apartment. The eldest member of our group was 60 but they did not have a problem as once you get to the apartment it is quiet and cosy. There is air conditioning and a television. Free WiFi, which worked well and lots of wardrobe space. There are also towels and plenty of toilet paper. Soap is also provided. The area surrounding the apartment has many restaurants, bars and coffee shops. It is near the buses and a great area from which to explore Palermo. Go stay there! Believe the exceptional reviews, Casa Colorata and Max are amazing!!!

Perfect location, perfect Massimo, perfect apartment.

A modernised cute apartment on the top floor of an historic building, just on the edge of the city centre, very convenient to visit places! The landlord is so friendly and helpful which definitely upgraded our stay !

Very warm welcome from Massimo, very nice place with good equipment. Nothing to add !

Some noise in building dog barking for exemple but never more than 5 minutes like Massimo said.
