Cozy 2 bedroom apartment in Piraeus

I was referred to this rental by a local car service driver. It was close to the port, easy to access quiet, with friendly neighbors. The rental was clean inside with clean linen, floors, kitchen, and bath.

It was a basement apartment which had to be accessed through a lower level stairwell. The stairwell area had a horrendous odor of mold and decay. It smelled like an animal rendering plant in that area. Upon entering the apartment you could smell some mold until I opened the windows and patio area.

The apartement is very good facilitated. Kitchen with every comfort in it, 2 bedrooms with tv, washingmacine, enough clean towels and mats, a back terrace and good secured entries. The location is nearby busstops and nice foodplaces. Next time I visit Piraeus I would definitely book it again.

As the apartment is located in the subbasement of a building, there are a few downstairs and a corridor of a few meters to the frontdoor. This part is not welcoming, but once in the apartment, it is indeed cozy.

The place is nice and very clean, however it did not include on the info that is a subbasement. The entrance of the apartment building and especially the lower floor is mouldy and has a strong smell. Fortunately it does not carry in the apartment which is very nicely decorated. A good value for the money.
