Mini Apartment Best Rest

Quirky cool apartment that's actually a bit bigger than we expected. Way more storage space than expected and tons of space to hang out or do a few activities like drawing/yoga. We actually loved the character and novelty of the rooms set up with the sleeping area up above the couch Location was fabulous and easy to walk to some stunning café's, bakeries etc Host was lovely and super accomodating. If they can stick a proper door on the bathroom it's definitely worth staying at and super good value

Like much of the area & hotels we've stayed in, the drains all have an off-putting smell if you're not used to it (super common, and the same smell is near drain etc outside). This hasn't affected reviews of other apartments because usually this is an easy fix by just keeping the bathroom door closed/plugs closed. However, that bathroom door is just a glass saloon like door. It does absolutely nothing to keep the smell enclosed unfortunately. We covered up the plugs and kept the windows open which minimised it all and helped us get used to it. I also wish the kitchen was set up a tiny bit different. Scrap the mirror for some little shelves so there an be a proper store of cutlery etc. Just feels like a poor impractical layout.

We liked how comfy it was. The location was also perfect.

I liked the cozy wooden style and decorations, the couch is nice and comfortable. The check-in was easy and communication with the host as well. There is all is needed for a short stay in Plovdiv. The location is literally 2 mins away from the pedestrian bridge (the beginning of the longest pedestrian street in Europe). I booked for 3 nights and extended for 1 extra night.
