Divina Costa Salerno

Very tidy and clean with excellent equipment. Convenient location for town and beach. Parking available nearby (payment reuqired). Host was very helpful and waited for us to arrive slightly later than planned. Recommended for any trip to Salerno as a base to explore wider area. Apartment felt very safe and private despite being quite central.

Slightly noisy at night (typical for city accommodation). Not a problem for us.

Poco spazio nel bagno

We had a 3 week stay and we had everything we needed for a long stay. We found the bed very comfy and loved our evening meals in the garden . There were basic supplies in the kitchen like tea , coffee , oil and vinegar which is always helpful when you are travelling. The bathroom was also fully stocked with toiletries. Also the situation is great for the old town and right at the Duomo station .

Nothing not to like

The apartment was perfect for a group of 4 and in a very decent location, about a 5-minute walk away from the center. The host was very friendly and provided extra hygiene amenities free of charge. The apartment itself is very cozy and has most utilities anyone would need. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely terrace with space to relax outside, we were a group of 5 and fit comfortably. The whole apartment was clean and the bathroom was equipped with many supplies including shavers, shaving foam, body wash, shampoo, conditioners and other items, good quality towels etc. the kitchen was also equipped with tea and coffee and the water from the sink is potable so we could easily fill our water bottles. Sofa beds were surprisingly comfortable with very good quality mattresses and pillows. The AC was also very effective and easily cooled down the whole apartment. There was lots of storage space too.

The wifi would cut off from time to time.

The location was excellent with train station and all ammenities very nearby. The terrace is even more beautiful than expected. The Host was super welcoming and brought us a gift of delicious local pastries when we arrived! Everything in the apartment worked well and was well maintained and lovely. Also very generous of the host to provide us with coffee and other items to get us started until we could get to a store.

The apartment was very clean and has everything needed for a short stay. The bathroom is small but works well, the shower is good and there were some very nice bathroom products available for us to use. The patio is a nice feature, a pleasant place to sit and drink a coffee or a glass of wine. In contrast to one negative review, I thought the apartment was very secure and the area felt quite safe, plenty of tourists and dog-walkers on the streets. A friendly convenience store is 50 metres from the door and it's a short walk to the old town where there are many small restaurants and bars. A relatively short walk to Salerno Centrale station, especially if you find the direct route - study the map. Recommended.

No real issues, as other reviews mention there is a bit of road noise at busy times but very quiet in the evenings and definitely not a problem for sleeping. It is uphill from the old town but that's the geography of Salerno so just be aware if you find walking difficult.

The apartment is very clean, well furnished, and has everything you need for your stay, really everything. Emilia is taking excellent care of the place and she was very helpful in giving us recommendations to visit the places around. There is hourly paid parking just in front of the apartment, we always found a spot. Otherwise, garages are nearby too. Reaching the ferry for visiting costa amalfitana is a 20 minutes walk.

Communication with Host was good- Host was very responsive. The apartment was very clean..

We did NOT like: * Broken exterior door lock- my wife felt very unsafe being on ground level. * Barking dogs through the night- my wife & i were unable to sleep soundly * Very loud motorcycle racing noise throughout the night; like above, unable to sleep * We were unable to stay at the apartment and left after 3 nights. * I asked the owner for a unused time refund less your fees and she refused - * I absolutely told the owner the issues listed above but she refused. * I also said i would not write a review, any review if host refunded our money. ( quid pro quo) * The host refused to provide a partial refund and even responded by saying if i wrote a review, she would reply to my review and tell the truth.. ( which i said would be the same as mine since my comments are 100 % truth) * My comments about the lock, the barking dogs and the motorcycle noises are all ABSOLUTELY true * Our decision to leave the apartment due to lock, constant barking dogs and constant extremely loud motorcycle noises is ABSOLUTELY true. One last comment: * This is not a reason we left, but the apartment is VERY, VERY dark... We had one single window in apartment- and that one single window was a closed/covered front window and that's it- no daylight. I am not sure where this review will be posted, but we plan on doing a similar review on TripAdvisor and Google. If Host wants to reconsider the partial refund offer, we will be happy to listen to what she proposes. NET/NET, as is, i feel our stay was a total waste of money and i would tell everyone not to stay there
