Villa Menelaos Penthouse

the owner is the best I ever met. I am travelling for many many years and never met such a kind host. he is so helpfull, . always positive, welocmed us with an amazing cooked meal

We had a fantastic stay in Menelaos Penthouse. You are surrounded by the sea with a perfect view from the huge balcony. The pictures speak for themselves. Menelaos is a exceptionally good host in a nice and subtile way. We have never experienced such a great hospitality. Thank you very much!

Everything was perfect

Our host (Menelaos) was very friendly and so welcoming. The location is amazing, you are surrounded by the sea, it is almost like being on a boat. You are moments away from a swim. The view to the Minoan ruins is spectacular.

Can’t think of anything.

We loved everything about our stay there. Menelaos met us at the property and surprised us with a platter of local appetizers from a nearby Taverna and then walked us through how everything worked. WiFi, 2 satellite TVs (Netflix included!), a fridge stocked with food and drinks AND a fruit bowl! I've not had hospitality like that in a long time. We cannot recommend Meneloas' Villa highly enough and we were given multiple recommendations on where to go and what to do. Remarkable place and we wish we could've stayed longer.

There really is nothing we didn't like other than we only stayed 2 nights there! 3 or more would've been better as it would've given us more time to explore the surroundings. (That's not their fault, it's ours for not planning better. Next time we will!)

The host, Menelaos, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely welcoming and a surprise when we discovered the lovely fish platter and wine shortly after arrival. The property itself is in an amazing location, right on the water’s edge and very close to a wide selection of taverns. We were able to park outside whilst unloading our cases and then moved the car to the free car parking just a few metres away. The property itself had everything you would want and the views of the sea are outstanding. We stayed in the upstairs apartment but did have the opportunity to view the downstairs which was equally attractive and would suit a family or group.
