Charming

Great location and apartment was stunning.

The central location. The proximity to car park and the interior decor.

The traffic noise and the upstairs neighbours washing machine going at one in the morning. Also the dishes and mugs were not particularly clean. Had to wash everything before use. The hot water tap in bathroom was very stiff and difficult to turn. I really struggled, my husband has arthritis and couldn't turn it at all.

The property is lovely it has been beautifully restored to a very high standard and very tastefully decorated. The location is fabulous, a stroll along the street, and you're in the heart of Morpeth. It's comfortable, with easy to use heating controls so nice and cosy if the weather's not good. It's on the main road but you would never know it once inside you don't hear a thing. Morpeth is a lovely town nice shopping area with lovely bars and cafés. We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed it so much we can't wait to return. Someone told us the town is very festive at Christmas, so we've booked a return stay in December this time staying at the Oldgate.

There's nothing to dislike. We are returning that says everything !! If I was being very picky, then maybe a small welcome pack would be nice 😀 Make the rating 10 ++++

Powerful rain shower and excellent flushing loo! Morpeth is a lovely town with lots of interesting shops, cafes and restaurants and flat is an easy walk to everything. Good carry out Chinese next door (no smells/noise by the way). No parking outside but car park across the road, with easy pedestrian access through a little lane. Need to drive round behind opposite building to park but not a problem.

Info sheets very useful but could do with being reprinted and put in poly pockets. Sofa very comfy but could do with a clean.

Property was clean, well-equipped and comfortable, with some quirky features.

The main door opened directly on to the street, which proved quite challenging for the dog! From the photos advertising the accommodation, I was under the impression that this ground floor flat had direct access to a small courtyard. Unfortunately, this was not the case.

Location was great! Free car park just across the road. Pubs, take aways, restaurants very close by. It's a busy street but quiet at night.

The wifi didn't work for us and the tv was slow to change channel and find what you're wanting to watch.
