Chalet Raufthubel

Clean and modern, and our host was very friendly and helpful. The location was very close to the BLM, a local train station. This was very convenient, and not loud like some stations can be. Easy walk to restaurants, cafés and shops.

The location was perfect and the layout was extremely functional. It was clean and comfortable. There was a fabulous view from the window and balcony.

Loved it all. Hope to return next year.

Comfortable, quiet, good location, good views, well equiped, everything needed for a 7 day stay. Having the lift available. I initially found the bed too firm but Ulrike immediately provided a mattress topper that solved the problem.

Location, view, and apartment all we're five stars. Immaculately clean with all the possible things we're available to make our stay comfortable from the beginning. Apartment location is few steps from Murren train station and view from balcony and windows we're amazing.

Everything was perfect

The apartment was in a perfect location with amazing views from the balcony. The property was modern and spotlessly clean and great value for money. The kitchen is well fitted out which allowed us to cook our own meals and thus save money on eating out. Murren is a fairy tale village with no general vehicles and overlooks the Lauterbrunnen valley from a dramatic cliff face. Something to be aware if (though not a problem for us) is that the City Taxes need to be paid separately at the local tourist bureau. We highly recommend the property and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The cogwheel railway was closed (for renovations) for the majority of time we were there meaning we had to access Murren from the Cable Car at Stechelberg. This was a unique way to get to the property with amazing views just a little crowded. The Cogwheel train has since opened again.

No doubt that this chalet was one of the highlights of our 2 week trip to Europe. We stayed 6 nights but wanted to stay 6 months. Clean and very well laid out apartment. Very comfortable beds, great kitchen and 1 1/2 baths with a great shower. But, the most amazing thing is the VIEW. Waking up to the Alps and cool air. Breathtaking. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Also, the location is super convenient...right near the train station.
