A teaspoon got lost, they did a check of the premise before I left and they couldn't find it..they wanted me to pay 400ksh to cover the cost of the teaspoon. My Uber was already upfront waiting to pick me up to the airport, the delay and back and forth for a teaspoon was incredulous considering I am a regular guest there and to have been held "hostage" in the compound for a teaspoon is not how I expected to be treated. Teaspoon accidentally fell in the kitchen bin because it was later found by housekeeping. For a regular guest that treatment was awful!,left a bad taste in my mouth and it's the last time I stay there. Spoon was dropped in the kitchen bin accidentally but to create an entire investigation after going through the inventory of the items I didn't appreciate that treatment at all. They couldn't acknowledge that I was a regular and for the amount of times I stay there ,absolutely no way I would intentionally take a teaspoon. So to the property me being a regular guest made no difference to them,clearly the loyalty as a customer is not important to them. I won't be back but I'd appreciate it if they took the feedback constructively and treat their repeat customers better.
