Beachfront Apartment Nazaré

We loved being able to walk across the street onto the beach. Great location close to delicious restaurants. We loved being able to walk to the funicular and up to the lighthouse and surf museum.

The construction crew started at 8:10 am both mornings we were there and the scaffolding was right outside one of the main bedrooms. Also, the hot water was lukewarm the first night but thankfully the management team was able to increase the temperature for the 2nd night we were there. Also, the playground right next door was occupied by children til after midnight both nights so we heard children playing til quite late.

The main problem was that there is a children playground below the flat and this.was used until midnight!

the elevator Was not working on workdays between working hours, maybe bc of the construction on the roof but it was a bit inconvenient, but still doable

It is a nicely laid out and decorated apartment with an excellent view. There are restaurants all around. Would be great for families with small kids because of the neighbouring playground and beach.

We wished we could give this place a better review but the double bed was uncomfortable. We are fairly light people yet the springs stuck in our back. It needs a mattress cover. It was very noisy one night because of people partying in the back alley but this is expected when you stay on the beach on a weekend. The water didn’t work properly because of a boiler problem that couldn’t be fixed on the weekend. The water spurted out brownish but cleared up. I am sure once fixed it will be fine for the next guest. It was really the poor bed that disappointed us because it is so important for comfort and such an easy fix. Hard is fine. Springs are not. Host is lovely and the rest of the place is great.

Étant plein centre ville, ça peut être bruyant mais ça va avec le site
