Beachfront Apartment Nazaré

Apartment is really well located near the beach and close to the city centre. The balcony has the most amazing view to evening sunset. The apartment has own parking place, which was super helpful. Beds were comfortable. Vera recommended us some nice restaurants.

The lift in the house should be renovated. Bit noisy in the evening, you can hear it in bedroom. Anyway lift was not working another day, so problem solved.

Slippery balcony, lots of stairs as lift broken, the building looked old and broken. Front door often didn’t get shut by others as lock poor so security impacted.

Absolutely fantastic location.

The elevator out of order is not so convenient when you need to go up 2 floors with luggage. The bathroom door definitely needs to be changed.

This was a lovely little apartment close to all amenities and with a fabulous view. The design was beautiful - very tasteful - and it was spotless. Lovely. It was very close to a lot of things and easily walking distance and - it had a car park!!! Excellent.

I should perhaps have read the details… no washing machine. Not their fault - mine. But we chose self catering to be able to wash our stuff! The launderette is nearby yes - but it’s super expensive and takes hours. The lift was erratic and really very noisy in my room. The mechanics were spectacular and I could hear every notch. No sun on the balcony and it overlooked a very noisy playground. No wifi - they said they told me they would come and fix it but my records are a little more vague than they suggested. I had a wifi stick - but we got stuck at the end.

The appartement has sufficient space for 4 people, it is clean and beautiful, the kitchen is fully equipped. The parking spot in the basement garage is a big plus but the best thing about this appartement is the amazing view on the beach and it's close to everything on the Nazare coast. It is easily accessible. Vera and Nuno were really welcoming!

It was perfect! The only little thing was the effect of humidity on the floor under the beds which is perfectly normal by the beach so no problems!

everything is fine, there is nothing negative

The apartment was a short walk from the bus stop ( we travelled by bus from Lisbon). On arrival we called the phone number we were given - we arrived a little early (2pm) and sat in the delightful café (Le Petit Parisien - our one stop for morning coffee and in the evening - Highly recommend this café!) outside the apartment building until Vera came with the Keys. The apartment block had a lift for our cases, which was good as the room was on the 3rd floor. We thought the apartment was facing directly onto the sea, but it is more of a side view - maybe that was us not reading the booking info properly - but it was still a cracking view of the sea and the town. Best things about the apartment were the view and the shower - That is a GREAT shower guys! Vera was very good and her partner was only a phone call away if we had an issue - he has good English (sadly my Portuguese is pretty much non existent) and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again.

Communication via email through Booking.com takes too long and we should have exchanged emails for ease of communication. The balcony needs a bit of paint as does the building but don't let that put you off staying here. The inside of the apartment is immaculate. Initially the apartment block is not east to find there are no signs for it - so my TOP TIP is to find 'Le Petit Parisien Café' and wait there for Vera to bring the keys- the apartment is kind of behind the café but to the left (if you back is to the sea).
