Was the most beautiful stay in the most perfect location. Property was clean and comfortable. Alison was a great host who answered all of our questions and delivered delicious breakfast each morning. Loved our time here!

Mattress was not the most comfortable

The room was big and spacious and had good facilities like a mini sofa and table and chairs. It was great to have parking and the location was very good being close to the high street and beaches. Alison is very accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was nice. We are more used to a cooked breakfast but there were good options to choose from and it was filling. It was nice to have breakfast in the room.

The room felt cold when the heating was not on. There was no radiator in the bathroom so it felt cold most of the time. Perhaps in the warmer months this is not so much of an issue The mattress was a bit uncomfortable, you could feel some of the springs. On one occasion when we tried to have a shower in the afternoon the shower ran cold no matter how long we ran the water for. It was fine in the mornings. It might be helpful to have a hand rail to hold onto when getting into and out of the bathtub for a shower. The tub is quite deep and it's a big step down and baths are slippery. I was careful getting in and out and it was ok for me but someone else might struggle a bit more.

It was exceptionally clean, lovely decor. Spacious, everything you need. Breakfast choices are fresh, healthy and delicious ,something for everyone. The location is perfect. 5 minute walk from the railway station, 5 minute walk to the stunning views overlooking the beaches and a gorgeous 20 minute walk through the town centre to the harbour and main beaches. The zoo and gardens are just around the corner, it’s a perfect location to explore all sides of Newquay.
