Villa by the Sea

The host was wonderful. She met us on arrival and was so sweet to us. Her son also was fantastic and so very helpful. We loved everything about this apartment, it has been one of our favorites in Opatija. The sea view, location, everything was perfect.

Perfect stay! The location is really wonderful, great sea view. Clean, everything necessary available in apartment and also in the kitchen, private parking, very friendly host.

Nothing

This is an absolute Zen paradise. Opatija centar means fake luxury and concrete beaches however this Place while still Opatija is special, humble and true to itself. It lies on the outskirt which is a bonus, still easily walkable to centar yet completely different world. One evening we decided to walk to Ika (6km) and did so with no car and no effort! You'll get a place right at the edge of the calm sea, out of the tourist noise, few steps from the beach, direct access to Lungomare promenade. The fact that you can walk to the beach back and forth to your accommodation anytime you please makes all the difference to your holiday as opposed to "travel" to the beach every day. We really enjoyed the authentic and spot-on accommodation as well as the outdoor shaded garden seating plus a private sea-view table/chair place for early mornings or late evenings. We felt safe, we felt at peace and in total comfort. Daniela is a special soul - lovely, easy going and very kind host. We really enjoyed our stay here and recommend this place 100%!

We loved the area surrounding the house and proximity to the beach and various places just for a quick swim. Volosko, a cute lil fishing village, is just a stone’s throw away and worth visiting and eating there. The house itself has a nice area outside that you can just chill with the direct view of the sea. Would come anytime :)

Location - right along the promenade with beautiful views of the sea. Convenient and free parking. Also loved all of the original artwork.

Towels were small.

The kind host Daniela and the location are the key asset of this property. Especially for a family with a small child the close proximity to the beach with playground is unique in Opatija.

Only minor things, which can be easily be improved: Some larger towels, newer bed sheets, and a fully functioning stove with extractor hood would be a plus.
