The accommodation is in an excellent location – right in the center, close to cafés, restaurants, the promenade, shops, and so on. It is fantastically equipped – a fully furnished kitchen with everything you need to prepare a light or more substantial meal, a very well-equipped bathroom. And the most beautiful part of the apartment is the spacious, comfortable terrace. Communication with the agents was quick and easy – they were always available and responded fast. We also used the parking, which is either right in front of the apartment or nearby on the other side of the building – a real bonus since parking in Opatija is hard to find.

What I didn’t like was the comfort of the bed, and especially the pillows – the mattress was somewhat okay but not very comfortable, while the pillows were too low, almost flat. Considering everything else in the apartment is fancy and expensive, it wouldn’t hurt to invest in a comfortable bed. And one more thing: capsule coffee is charged €1 per coffee – which we found a bit odd, since we hadn’t seen that price list, so at check-out we were surprised that we had to pay for coffee. Of course, we would have had the coffee anyway regardless of the price, but even in hotels that charge for every little thing you still get complimentary coffee or tea. So, we didn’t really appreciate that stingy system.

We absolutely loved our stay in Apartment 11. We were three couples, and the apartment worked really well for us. Two of the bedrooms were fantastic, while the third couple had to use the pull-out sofa, which was just okay. Having three bathrooms was a huge plus, and we also appreciated the washing machine and the fully equipped kitchen. The location was excellent—right across from the promenade, with plenty of restaurants nearby and even a mini-mart right next door, which was super handy. We also made use of the paid parking, and the hosts kindly allowed us to keep the car a little longer, which was much appreciated. Overall, a wonderful apartment for a group stay, with only the sofa bed being the small drawback
