La Rosa Dei Venti " LEVANTE "

Very well designed small space that did not feel cramped. Beautiful decor. Quiet location one block back from main road with large Lidl grocery store across that street. Electric jug and washing machine. Very clean and well stocked with prepackaged breakfast items and coffee pods. 8 and 10 min walk to main intercity train and bus stations, respectively. By choice, We spent 4 days just walking and found an almost inexhaustible array of interesting things to see and do, close by . We would stay again.

On arrival especially, It would have been very easy to trip down the couple of stairs at the entrance. If one exams the photos very carefully, but who does, it is evident one needs to take care. This is especially so if it is dark. One must take one step down between the 2 front doors. The space is awkward and thus it can be hard to position oneself to get the key in. The second door swings inward and the next narrow triangular shaped step is right there. The light switch is to the left of the door but you cannot turn on the lights until one inserts the small key into the keyhole , (turning key to horizontal position). (This is very awkward while navigating the entrance stairs in the dark). One can then remove keys and lock door. Initially, The outer door locks without need for key. The stairs to bedroom are steep and narrow . We have good balance and no mobility issues so it was not a problem. This design feature is very evident from the photos. However, we would not choose this accommodation if we developed any disability.

Everything we needed was supplied. Trendy modern decor in beige and grey neutrals. Lidl supermarket within 100 metres with excellent pizza and chicken takeaway outside. Good communication with host

It is very compact. Our suitcases are large, too heavy to attempt to carry upstairs. The staircase to the mezzanine sleeping area is very narrow and steep with 2 bends. Not suitable for people with mobility problems or very overweight
