La Lumia - Al Politeama

A very spacious, super clean house, with big windows, on 2nd floor of a nice building, with steel door and fully equipped as for kitchen and laundry. The bed and the sofa are very comfortable, there are 2 air conditions, 1 tv with Netflix, no balcony. The host is amazing, so kind and helpfull, we had an excellent communication during the stay, easy way to find the keys. The area is also great, very close to the historic center by foot, nice are and safe, quiet with a variety of places to eat and coffee around there. A bus station for/from the airport is very close to the house and other bus stations. Value for money, I would come again.

A wonderful apartment in a very convenient part of town. We stayed here for two nights. Plenty of space for us. A surprise that it has a washing machine. Comfy beds. One street away from Plaza Politiama. We couldn't park outside as it was too busy but found free parking near the port. Near fantastic gelato places and coffee places. Lovely apartment in a lovely city. We walked all over the city. Great base to explore enchanting Palermo.

It's next to a lively coffee shop that is open until 2am. We could hear it but we still slept fine. We couldn't turn the key in the main door lock from the inside. The door was locked but would have been nice if it had worked completely.

I had a great experience at the apartment and the host was amazing! Even though we didn't meet him in person, he was always proactive and responsive, and he answered all our questions. The apartment was very clean. The living room had a table for 4, a couch, and a small kitchen with a small fridge and stove (no pans, but there were coffee-making supplies). The bedroom was spacious and had a TV and a wardrobe. The area was nice, with lots of bars and restaurants. There's a coffee shop right at the building's entrance.

It was noisy in the evening due to the bars, but that's to be expected in a vibrant area. They say the truth in the page about the parking, so it is not on the accomodation, but we would like to highlight this point: Parking a car here can be very tricky, and we imagine this goes for the whole city. It was okay to find parking the first two nights (Wednesday and Thursday), not easy but okay. but on Friday it was very difficult due to the increased activity in the bars and restaurants. Even the paid parking was very crowded and difficult, and street parking was almost impossible on Friday night. Keep this in mind if you plan to have a car. The traffic jam / transit in Palermo is chaotic. If you're renting a car, consider getting full insurance.
