Very good location. Close to bus stops / terminal and historical center. The apartment is on ground floor and quite spacious. You can find parking close by if you arrive early enough by mid-afternoon.

The surrounding partly due to the construction during the time we stayed. Not many restaurants choice around, but there is a good bakery several doors away.

The best place to stay while visiting Palermo, especially if you want to live like a sicilian for a couple of days and at the same time to be very close to the main touristic locations! The location is excellent - right next to the Porta Nuova and the historical center of the city - Palazzo Reale, the Cathedral, also very close to the Piazza Independenza where you can catch the bus to Monreale. Right next to the apartment is the best pasticeria in the city and some of the most popular places for sicilian street food. The rooms are big enough, the bathroom and the kitchen are very comfortable and there is great coffee provided by the hostess. She is very intelligent, kind and helpful lady - we had problems with the flight (changed from Palermo to Catania) and she agreed to cut one of our nights so we can transfer and sleep near Catania's airport, even she helped us with the local Booking service calling them to refund us which we'll never forget! Don't miss the chance to relax in Casa Porta Nuova like a real italian while exploring Palermo and surroundings!

Location was really good

Appartement was not clean, shower was leaking water everywhere. Also a good amount of mold.

This is the second time for us to stay in this apartment. We tried to contact the owner before and when we arrived there, including several tries of calls, but no response. After waiting for long time, finally we had to ask a neighbour to give her a call such that she came to give us the keys.

Good location to the historical sites and city center. In general good apartment regarding the price.

The street parking was hard unless arriving early. There was no sufficient hot water for 4 people to shower,
