Casa Rispoli Praiano

Comfortable and quiet location away from crowds, a great way to end the trip. Our only issue was one of the showers leaked water onto the bathroom floor

Great location, clean and well appointed room.

The host (Pepè) phoned us when our transfer was delayed from Napoli by 1hr and was incredibly rude about having to wait for us and the inconvenience to his day we had caused through no fault of our own. He said if we hadn't arrived by 3pm he would make us wait until the evening. If you're going to run an air bnb business then this is unacceptable and the way he spoke to us over the phone was so unprofessional. Made us feel awful although we had not done anything wrong.

Excellent location with access to restaurants, shops, buses. Comfortable bed and bathroom was roomy with a luxurious shower. Room was clean and lots of towels were given.

No windows to the outside, apart from a small one in bathroom which couldn’t be opened; this is ok, but should be in the listing as changes the feel of the place. No heated towel rail and no windows meant towels did not dry at all, hence the multiple given. We also had a few cold shower mornings as the hot water would frequently not run in the shower. This was very disappointing, as hot water is the minimum one would expect. Door to the room was a bit flimsy as a sliding door. 3 nights would be the maximum to stay.

Location is excellent, you don’t need to claim a stairs to get to the apartment. Small grocery store and bus stop is just few meters. There are few good places to eat nearby, one is just next door. Peppe met us at arrival and gave very useful information. And communication was easy via whatsup. The two bedroom apartment is bright, clean and good size and has two bathrooms and big living room with small balcony with sea view. Parking was also arranged by Peppe pretty close for 30 Eur per day. Just note that parking is on one way road and you have to drive around for 10-15 min to arrive to the apartment if you are going to Positano.

Pepe looked after us very well, and the apartment is lovely and has everything you need. The beds are comfortable, and the shower is excellent. Cooking facilities are brand new and spotless. Praiano is an excellent location for seeing the Amalfi coast without being in an overcrowded, over expensive location. It is relaxed with some excellent, friendly bars, restaurants and local shops. The bus takes you along the coast very cheaply although it can get busy at peak times. The balcony has a view of the sea and expansive sky.

I suppose when it says terrace, it means balcony. This is over the main road in and out of Praiano. Lovely view of the sea and sky and quiet with the doors shut, but not very private for sitting outside with your morning coffee. Not much they can do about that though.

It was a very nice stay for us. Located in Praiano, which is in the middle of the way between Amalfi and Positano. We are happy that we chose to stay in Praiano instead of Amalfi or Positano. The neighborhood is very calm and cute. Bus stop, small local shop is very close. Pepe is a very helpful and nice host.

The only thing we can advice is don't book boat trip to Capri with his recommendation. You can do your own search and find a company in advance and discuss every detail with tour manager.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful accommodation in Praiano.. The location is great, just in the middle between Amalfi and Positano, great to start the walk of sentiero degli dei. You have the bus that takes you both ways and also there is a great beach nearby that is quite local and great to bath. The room is huge, and the bathroom is well equipped.

Just bear in mind if you are going in high season that the bus schedule is bad, sometimes you have to wait an hour to get in and from Praiano, unless you have a car or scooter, you depend on these buses as the ferry doesn't get you here and taxis cost 70 euros. Aside from that the location is great, my only suggestion is to put a kettle and two tea cups in the room. That would make a huge difference for guest with practically no cost (wr asked for one but it was not possible to be given)
