Very clean and perfect location

Location was exactly what we wanted, within walking distance of sea front and old town. Owner was responsive to messages. Beds were comfortable. Air con was very quiet, Nice to have a good ( Hausmann) capsule coffee machine but would have been good to know you cant buy the capsules locally, the owner will supply. There were a few left from previous visitors which I eked out until I could get more from the shop, which I wasted time discovering I couldnt ! Nice terrace but shared and small, no good if the upstairs apartment wants to use it at the same time and only one table big enough to eat at between 2 apartments. Wifi good and stable. Good size fridge and freezer. Kitchen/sitting/dining room a good size, I wouldn't want to try and prepare more than breakfast. Good shower though low ceiling if you are above average height, nice to have a bathroom with enough space to put a wash bag, which is regular complaint of mine!

Not double glazed so quite noisy at night, especially bikes. Not all night, but might be an issue for light sleepers. Also we had noisy upstairs neighbours moving around till after 1am, you can hear the noise of them through the floor/ceiling. Space around beds is very tight! You can see from photos, but reality is 2 people could not get dressed in the room at the same time. No dressing table or anywhere to put bits... just a narrow window sill. One mirror in one bedroom, propped on floor. An information book about apartment (Coffee! ) , the town, a map etc would have been useful. Bathroom is fine except the pretty light around the mirror doesn't give enough light to put make up on. Trendy "basin" in bathroom is small so whatever you do you end up with water everywhere. Owner did fix the blocked shower drain as soon as we reported it but why didn't the cleaner report it when she cleaned, so it was done before we arrived, I would suggest she also puts in a pack of coffee capsule for each arrival so you wont have to waste time hunting in supermarkets. Whilst there were many small things that are irritating, all in all it was a good spot for a short town break.
