Piazza Chiappa Apartment

It was excellent, clean, near beach, shops and restaurants. Mimma our host was so helpful, went out of her way to ensure we experienced the best of Rapallo.

Mimma the host met us at the railway station and was very helpfull throughout our stay with advice and recommendations. Good location in the centre of this pleasant town close to railway station, boat pier and waterfront. Also close to shops, restaurants and supermarket.

No air-conditioning but we managed OK by closing window shutters and using fans. Some noise from bars and restaurants but that is to be expected in a central location. No lounge area just a table and chairs.

It is a preserved old building upgraded with modern facilities to let you have the best of both worlds. Apartment is spacious and great view of not only the sea but every window of the place gives you a different glimpse of the typical Italian lives sprinkled along the narrow picturesque alleys. Mimma the wonderful friendly host met us at the train station. Took us to the place which is 5 minutes away n explained everything in detailed. A welcome food basket n a bottle of Prosecco was on the table. Full set of toiletries, bath amenities and kitchen stuff. The facilities are more than what you will expect. Mimma also recommended awesome restaurants and roof top bars etc. Rapallo is a great base to explore Cinque Terre, Portofino, Santa Magherita, Camogli etc.

Location was great, close to beach, restaurants and train station. apartment was well appointed with everything you could need, including a washing machine.

Everything was superb, from meeting our host (now friend) Mimma, she took the time to show us everything we needed to know about the apartment and gave us all the information we could need to have a fabulous time in and around Rapallo and Portofino. The apartment itself is just perfect, the large bedroom with windows on two sides, the fantastic view of the sea and promenade takes your breath away. The second bedroom which overlooks the quaint narrow street at the rear of the apartment is also of a good size and has two single beds. There is ample storage space in the wardrobes in both bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you could need, and is in perfect condition, there is also a nice area with a table for four to have your meals. The apartment has three tv's. The bathroom is large and has a great shower. Both check in and check out was easy and there is a lift in the building so no problems with the luggage. A great apartment, we will happily return to.

We were met on arrival by our friendly host who provided us with lots of useful information and recommendations about the area The apartment was spotlessly clean, beautiful and bright with a fantastic view. It had every amenity we could ask for including a lovely welcome pack of local produce. The apartment was a few minutes walk from the train station and the ferry was across the road. We would definitely recommend this apartment as a great place to stay to explore the area.

If you’re after a centrally located flat with everything you need on your doorstep and a view of the sea, and the most friendly, accommodating host, youre in luck. Clean, well furnished and felt like we in the heart of Rapallo.

location and waking up everyday to that view and local culture all around. apartment size is large. host was absolutely amazing and so welcoming with easy directions to apartment, sightseeing & restaurant recommendations. definitely felt like home. We love everything about it.
