Ai Mori

Bright, spacious,attractively decorated apartment. As described. Possible to self cater if you to. Parking not too far away but it is a very busy area. Secure. Busy cafes and restaurants at both ends of the street. Air conditioned which is important because you have to close the doors at night. See below.

It is a very busy, narrow, paved street which seems like a major thoroughfare for cars and pedestrians. This makes it very noisy but luckily the apartment has a double layer of double glazed doors which keep the noise out but it means you have to have them closed at night.

Location and the host 👌🏻

Everything was good!

We found the location to be excellent, because it was central to restaurants, shops, and supermarket. Via Roma was just a short distance away and also some of the well known buildings in Palermo. There was no food involved in our agreement.

We believe that the locks of the various doors could be updated to secure the building and improve entry to the building.

We loved the location of the apartment, it’s close to all the main attractions in Palermo, nice restaurants, shops and bus stops to go to the airport and to Mondello’s beach. The apartment is clean, modern, very spacious, and nicely furnished with everything you might need. We were amazed by how well stocked with amenities the apartment was, just to name a few which are not usually provided: washing powder, sewing kit, razors, and even tampons, on top of all the most common amenities! We highly recommend Ai Mori to everyone. You won’t find anything better for the same price. We also had pleasure to meet Stefano which was very kind and helpful and on our last day even let us keep the suitcases in the apartment until the evening as we had a late flight and gave us the chance to have an extra day in Palermo!

Very comfortable apartment, great location with bars and restaurants on its doorstep. Nicely furnished, quiet, liked the kitchenette and washing machine too. Stefan was an excellent communicator with helpful suggestions of where to eat etc. He also advised us where to park easily and for free not too far from the apartment.

The location was very central. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see and do. Our contact Stefano was available through WhatsApp to answer questions and offered great restaurant recommendations. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Even though you were in the heart of the action the windows were very soundproof. We heard no street noise.

Upon arrival there was garbage strewn outside the entrance to the building. We were skeptical about entering. We contacted Stefano and he explained it was to be left outside the building and it gets collected daily. Unfortunately it was there for a couple of nights. We assume someone from the building tidied up a bit and put it in bags and washed off the step.
