Bed mattress was good…….sheets poor however

My stay in this apartment in Palermo was quite disappointing. It felt more like a glorified hotel room than a proper apartment. The layout was cramped, with only one window for the entire space, and it seemed like everything was arranged to discourage its use. We stayed as a couple for three nights, but the host provided just two small packs of shampoo and two small soaps, which barely lasted us one shower. The staff experience wasn’t great either. The host was not very responsive, and communication through his professional WhatsApp was slow. He also tried to push for a later check-in, which was inconvenient. On the day of check-out, the cleaner knocked aggressively on the door and threatened to call the police because we were six minutes late leaving, even though check-out was at 10 AM. While the place was clean, there was a cockroach problem, as we encountered a couple during our stay. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this apartment, as the lack of hospitality and the cleanliness issues really stood out Lift is not adequate for disabled access……..for luggage only or one person only

The location was close to the center, the apartment is modern.

We booked the apartment for 3 people, but the second bed was not made and it didn’t fit properly in the room when extended (you couldn’t open the fridge and have the bed extended). The towels were dirty. You needed five keys to enter the apartment (not exaggerating). The place you leave your luggage to is very far. The check in and check out are at extreme hours. They let our luggage unlocked, unsupervised, we could enter from the street without anyone being there or noticing.
