Dc Domus Charme SPA

This apartment is in the city, but in a quieter location just 10 minutes walk of everything. We had a welcome bottle of fizz and snacks and great coffee and cold water in the fridge. It was such a great welcome for us after travelling and as we arrived on Easter Sunday they managed to get us an early check in, so kind and much appreciated. We were also not expecting breakfast, however cereal, jam and bread was provided as an added extra, which was great. The hot tub really helped soothe our aches from walking so much in Venice, Rome and Naples before reaching Palermo on our final stop on our tour of Italy. The patio area was well equipped, we didn't use the BBQ but it was a private inner courtyard with a few windows overlooking the area, it seemed private. All equipment, fittings and bedding are of high quality. This place was just the perfect ending to a great holiday in Italy! The beds were comfy, immaculately clean and great toiletries. We will come again and stay longer next time as there is so much to explore and we loved the vibes in Palermo and the Easter sunshine in Sicily! There are also some great restaurants just 5 minutes away, we tried two amazing places, Pastory and Beccafico that also has a takeaway shop next door which a local lady we met in the street recommended to us. You can walk a few minutes more to reach the centre. Thank you again Silvia for hosting us, we will be back!

I can't fault this place, everything was done to perfection. As it is located in a residential area, you do have to be quiet after 10pm...but this is normal so I didn't really see this as an issue.

The property is amazing. You enter an old building and you open the door to a very nice apartment which has beautiful interiors and facilities. The host is also great and very responsive and helpful . There is a watchman in the building and head great and very helpful. Location of the apartment is fantastic, in a lovely area near the centre and lots of shops in the vicinity

Everything was great no complaint

The apartment was very nice. So clean and welcoming. Spacious. Jacuzzi was lovely too.

The building works above which were so loud from 7.30 am. No dressing gowns or slippers which were needed with the jacuzzi. Also the walk into town was quite a trek

The property was exactly how it was listed. Very cozy and comfortable. Great central location in Palermo. The hot tub and private patio were perfect after a long day seeing the city! Silvia was an amazing host and was a huge help with any questions we had! Thank you so much again!

Terribly disappointed! The jacuzzi in the apartment never worked, which was the main attraction and the only reason why we chose this property. Even with the help of a technician the issue was not fixed. The host never offered any type of refund, the only option that we were given was a discount if we were to rebook the place again, which I think is unacceptable. It is definitely not worth the money if you are unable to use the jacuzzi. Additionally, we were a group of four and were only given two toilet rolls and we were not provided with towels for the jacuzzi. When I asked for some I was told that it was not possible. How are we expected to use the same towels for both the shower and the jacuzzi for three nights straight? I guess we did not have this issue as we were not able to use the jacuzzi! I understand that problems can happen, I would have just appreciated for the host to offer a direct discount without us having to go through Booking.

Owner was attentive from beginning to end of the stay. Answered all questions immediately and was extremely helpful. Will be back my next trip to Palermo!

It was perfect!

We went out for breakfast most days. Plenty of cafes nearby. We had breakfast in one day as we were able to go to a very good supermarket. The apartment was very modern, had a good outside terrace and a jacuzzi. We could walk everywhere but there was a bus stop near apartment. There were also plenty of nice restaurants nearby.

Nothing really. Our host responded quickly if we had any queries or requests.

The apartment pretty much looks like as described in the pictures. Most facilities and amenities are there. We were welcome with complimentary wine and cookies.

Its houses in an old building and the spa and outdoor sitting area is surrounded by taller buildings with windows. Felt a bit strange regarding privacy. As we love to cook, we were missing some utensils in smaller sizes. There is no parking with the apartment. So we had to use very expensive apcoa parking for our stay. There seems to be no soundproofing when the windows are closed. The apartment is at an intersection of roads. So the noise levels were sometimes unbearable, especially late nights on weekend
