The location was ideal- only a few steps away from the historic centre, and walking distance to all interesting landmarks. The host was great, very responsive, and kind - and even welcomed us with Sicilian treats.

The walls were extremely thin in every room,, so you could hear absolutely every single movement and chatter happening in neighboring units. And this was a huge problem for us, especially in the bedroom- the unit upstairs, which also happened to be a holiday home, had people moving furniture and walking around late into the night, until 2am every night we stayed. And we had our 11 month old with us, and the non-stop, extremely loud noise from the unit kept waking her up. We even used a sound machine, but it did us no good. This was completely out of the host's control, and she was very apologetic. So I would not recommend families (specifically folks with small children).

Ambra is the amazing host. She provided us with a detailed description of how to get there from the airport by a shuttle bus and with photos of every turn to the apartment which is within 5 minutes walk.

All is great

The host was very keen on making our stay comfortable. The first night, our neighbours were very loud, so she immediately called them for us. After that, is was very quiet. The downstairs bar is very cute and closes very early, so you really have a quiet night. We were very happy with our choice!

The shower is a bit unhandy, but since everything was clean I didn't really care. Also, if you use both rooms as a bedroom, there is no door to the living room and kitchen.

The location was great, the apartment was fully equipped with everything (there was even a little bag with sweets and traditional biscuits).

The only minor issue is that WiFi wasn't working in the bedroom area but it didn't bother us much.

A clean and modern apartment that has everything you need. The location was perfect and you can walk to just about everywhere. Its easy to catch bus to the central station as well.

The noises from the people living right above my bedroom at night. I ended up getting a pair of earplugs as I couldn't sleep at all. Perhaps they are really thin ceiling??

Not really sound proof, so you hear the person above on next floor. (Nothing ear plugs won’t fix at night time) Bed was a bit firm for us.

Our host Ambra met us on arrival, responded to our questions quickly. She left a folder with local information and checked in with updates while we were their of things that may have been of interest. The apartment was amazing. So much attention to detail, beautifully furnished and an amazingly convenient location. Palermo is busy and loud and vibrant but the accommodation was so quiet at days end it was a welcoming and restful home. The beautiful pastries on arrival were a lovely gift. A beautiful place to stay
