The Snug, a great flat in the heart of Peebles.

Lovely to walk in to a bottle of wine, some chocolate biscuits and a warm room. This has become my home from home at Christmas when I go to spend the time with family.

The quiet location in the heart of Peebles was great for shopping and eating/drinking out

The bedroom was a bit tight

It’s on the main street with pubs restaurants and independent shops all within two minutes from the property.

It's a very cosy wee place right in the heart of Peebles. Very nicely decorated.

The cutlery, glasses and crockery were not so clean; the dining table a bit sticky and the drain in the shower smelled

Central location, easy parking, very cosy inside, has everything you need for a comfy stay. The bed is lovely but maybe buy some new pillows.

I think the lock could be better and also a motion sensor light outside would be handy as it’s difficult in the dark to see the key box. Also I think the key box should be more clearly labelled. And another point this time is the towels are really small and that hasn’t been the case in the past. Not sure what’s going on there. Otherwise thank you very much xxxx

Location in peebles excellent, lack of natural light due to alleyway position meant accommodation a little gloomy.

Clean and tastefully decorated, centrally located

No comfortable seating. The sofa is a bed and impossible to lean back ( too deep) . As I’m disabled it was not possible to sit comfortably. We did not I tend to be out late so comfort in the property was needed. There was one comfortable chair in the bedroom but we were unable to get it passed the bed to the lounge Alleyway/street outside was dirty with loads of cigarette ends. Probably out of control for the host

It’s right in the middle of town so couldn’t be more convenient. I love that there’s a washer/dryer. The flat gets super cosy and the key box is very convenient.

If I’m being super fussy, the bed does fill up most of the bedroom so you have to step round it but that’s really so minor. Also I would suggest a sensor light outside so it’s easier to see the key box when returning late at night. The other things I would point out for other people is that the ‘Wynd’ is sloping and cobbled so bear that in mind if you have mobility issues. Also it is behind a pub so there maybe a bit of noise and there’s an extractor from the pub’s kitchen - neither of these bothered me in the slightest but people should be aware.
