Location great for getting around the island, supermarkets not far and for beach lovers it's quite literally at the end of the road. The apartment was spacious, clean and tidy and had everything we needed including toiletries. Communication from the owners was great and when I asked for photos of the stairs for my son (who was struggling with not knowing how we would get to our room) I was sent a group of photos from the front door up each set of stairs and in to the apartment which really helped him. It was nice to be shown up to our apartment and not just given keys and left to get on with it. Having a fan in each room was also great and also an allocated parking space.

Personal preference only, one of the mattresses was very uncomfortable but ended up sleeping really well in a different bed. The sofa is leather and not nice to sit on in warm weather. Though we totally understand that a wipe clean sofa is ideal for a family room again just personal preference.

The property was in ideal distance from the beach and local shops and attractions. Were able to get to the other areas of Isle of wight within 25mins drive which was ideal for us. Enjoyed the walks across the coastal path. The host was very friendly and had no issues during our stay, the apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. All facilities were in working order and clean.

Sandown needs some investment but location was great for us to see around the island.

Ideal for 2 people. Close to shops and seafront. Bus stop 10 yards with regular buses if needed. Dedicated parking space. Step free access. Good sized fridge and separate freezer. Excellent value for money. Would book again if visiting the Island

Minor detail but no spare toilet roll

The place was ran down. You have to pay into a meter for your electric. This is in the very small print of booking.com. Had issue with the booking, left various phone messages for the hotel to ring us back, all of which they ignored.

We stayed in the one bedroom flat on the top floor. The kitchen had all of the basics for self-catering and a decent sized living room. The location was perfect for beach access - about a one minute walk.

The flat and kitchenware is little worn out - it's definitely lived in and shows that it is a high occupancy property. But the location really does make up for it.
