Casa da Candida one place, many things

It's near to the supermarket

The host was super friendly and helpfull, the room was clean, the free parking spot in an underground parking was a nice bonus.

The smell was bad. Strong chemicals, mold, humidity. No view.

Super tidy, right and town but surprisingly really quiet at night when we were there, close to the beach, really comfortable, great bed, host was very helpful.

The location was incredible!! The staff were lovely and helpful, everything you needed. We cooed using local fresh produce a couple of nights and it was perfect for that. Easy check in

The only thing was there was a mouldy kinda of smell in the house - I think it’s the washing machine as maybe the laundry had just been done ? It went away after a day though.

The host was extremely responsive, gave answers immediately.

The place was quite hard to find (at least for us), google maps puts the place a few dozen meters away.

There was lots to love about Casa da Candida, great communication, contactless entry with key code access, free parking a couple of minutes walk from the apartment, plenty of coffee pods for our whole stay, very close to the beach, restaurants and a fantastic coffee shop bakery on the corner. While very compact, and lacking any views, it had everything we needed for a 4 day stay for a couple.

There is a building site next door with construction work starting at 8am on week days. Not ideal if you a looking for a sleep in.

Clean apartment, remote check-in (send an access code in correspondence), free Parking, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, good living room, comfortable bed, air conditioning. In the very center of the city, 2 minutes to the beach, friendly host.

There is a construction site nearby and sometimes you can hear it, but it didn't bother us and they didn't make any noise in the morning. There is no view.

The apartment was well equipped. It was nice and clean.

Smell in the apartment was terrible. It was so wet. It smells and feels like in an old cellar.

Hostess Julia was very helpful and went out of her way. Lovely little apartment, clean and fresh and could do laundry. Well situated to beach and short walk to cable car. Parking was included.

Bedroom could have been little larger for bedside table but otherwise very happy.
