Overwhelming beauty and comfort, fairy tale villa in wonderful valley. The place exceeds expectations, it is complex of few houses with separate house with sauna close to outdoor pool with marvelous view on valley. We were super lucky to be alone in this perfect place. Our house has 2 levels, with dining room and living room plus WC at first and 2 bedrooms plus WC and laundry room at second level. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need. There is outdoor equipment as table, chairs and a bench, as well as sunbeds. It was cool to eat outside under trees surrounded by roses and enjoy beautiful scenery. The beds are super comfortable, WiFi is super fast. There is washing machine and also clothes dryer - very convenient. You need a car to move around, but Florence is reachable also via public transportation (train), the 2 stations are several minutes away by car. We felt like we were guests at our relatives. If it would be possible, I would rate this property as 20 instead of 10.

Il Poggiolo is a dream location if you plan to visit Tuscany. The sauna was the highlight of our stay. The property was clean all around. We had a small issue getting locked out of the sauna but the person in charge of the property responded quickly and helped us getting in.

We stayed at the property for 4 nights (4 people!!!) and next day we ran out of toilet paper. I messaged the owner and the response was that they can’t give more toilet paper as they provide only the basics… the toilet paper we had in the bathroom wasn’t even a new roll. if you plan on visiting consider having the basics such a toilet paper, sugar (we also ran out 2nd day), coffee… Also, it would have been nice to meet the owners. We travelled all around Italy this summer and all owners welcomed us to their properties.

everything was as advertised.we had a clean check in. the location is great for relaxation and for visits to Tuscany in general and Florence. they pool is well located overlooking the woodland with a morning mist. the sauna service worked seamlessly with all the necessary amenities like free essential oils. we also came across some small wild animals at night roaming the compound

Very nice surroundings and good communication with the hosts. Apartment is spacious and has everything you need. Beds are hard, but very comfortable to sleep on.

The pathway leading to the house is very steep and quite narrow. I did not feel comfortable driving up there with my car and I was always afraid I would meet some other guests on the way there, because it would be very difficult to meet a car on that pathway. A little heads up about this would have been nice. Or maybe some complementary wine bottle after the stressful experience. ;)

Everything. Very suitable for family. The owner menu is nicely designed with all necessary information and guides of the surroundings. Can see the property developed with love and care. The herbs at the garden are awesome. Suitable for cooking and making drinks with herbs.
