Senglea Apartments, Triq il-Kurcifiss, L-Isla

The location was perfect for exploring the area and easy access to all parts of Malta. The apartments had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (but as mentioned in previous reviews, sun loungers for the roof would be a bonus).

Be prepared to pay an additional cleaning fee that is not stated on Booking.com. It would not be suitable for people with poor mobility as steps everywhere at the apartment and location.

A microwave would have been useful to us.

Perfect location to discover the Three cities and Valetta, but also allows to have a taste of the "Maltese life" (unlike the old Valetta with lot of hotels which is more of a place for tourism only). Calm place, easy to park in the surrounding streets, everything you need can be found around easily, and very close to the ferry for Valetta (departures every 30 minutes). Possible to go swimming around, and I really appreciated the dinners on the Senglea port nearby: lot of choice of food (Mediterranean, Asian, fast-food...) with the Valetta + Senglea + Birgu view. Also, the apartment was very clean, and the hosts eager to help and to give tips for a perfect stay. I would just note that the apartment being in a traditional building, stairs are kind of steep as you can see on the pictures - maybe not the best choice if you have mobility issues. Wi-Fi was working well and fast. I would recommend this apartment.
