Everything is great, especially the location - it is close to most of the attractions. The apartment is very spacious, clean and bright.

The apartment is tired and in need of renovation or at least an update. The photos misrepresent the condition of the place. They were obviously taken quite a few years ago. One of the kitchen blinds was missing. The doors to the patio didn't have substantial locks, just cheap small bolts (mentioned in a previous review). Also mentioned before are the many broken and chipped tiles on the floor which haven't been addressed. The blind in the bathroom was also missing and replaced by a plastic window cellophane. It still afforded privacy but looks cheap and is coming away in the corner. Part of the bathroom door lock was missing. Again just shows lack of maintenance. The pictures show a bidet but there isn't one. There are holes in the shower tiles where something has been removed. Not a real problem but just shows a lack of care as they could have easily been filled. Substantial damp in the bathroom at the bottom of the outside wall which has just been painted over and is already stained again. A sticking plaster solution to the problem and again shows lack of care. The binds in the main bedroom we're tatty. The standing lamp in the lounge couldn't be used as the switch is broken so it's stuck in the off position. Very noisy outside until the early hours and early in the morning in the enclosed gardens. The gardens and benches are used as a gathering place for the homeless many of whom are drinking and singing late into the night. 1.30am was the latest. They seem harmless but we had to push through them on our way home at 1030pm and this could be intimidating to some guests. The noise is amplified by the buildings so it's difficult to sleep. This is out of the landlords control but it needs to be highlighted. The noise from the local business deliveries, bin collections etc also is disturbing early in the morning which is to be expected in a city but when you've been kept awake until 2am it's not welcome.
