Toad Hall, Self Catering, Sleeps Four

Location fantastic great value kids loved the farm.

A very good place to stay for a good peice

Heating was on before our arrival. Bed was comfortable. Peaceful location.

Very difficult to find Toad Hall. It is actually down a 1 mile pot holed farm road at Lower Field Farm. The road was not suitable for standard cars. Directions would have helped! Communication with the owner was difficult. Kitchen pans were in a poor unhygienic ondition. Inside looked a bit tired.

Freedom to come and go independently with no time restriction as in hotel - like being at home. We have been before so knew what to expect.

Long drive from main road which is the price you pay for quiet secluded setting. However track has deteriorated since our last visit making it more difficult especially in the dark.

Serenity and quiet night's sleep. About a quarter acre of garden all to ourselves. Nobody around. Cosy caravan. Lovely shower. Plenty of sofa space. Well equipped. Host very helpful. Fantastic WiFi.

All was great but just take care over the speed bumps on the track in. I flattened my exhaust box going over too fast (city boy).

Great hospitality as the host is friendly and helpful.

the location suited us, lovely views, nice walks, close to the canal, beds and bedroom very comfortable. television and WiFi excellent.

on arrival caravan could only be accessed via 1 of the doors, up some unhand railed steps and as the door wouldn't stay open proved somewhat dangerous, other door couldn't open. problems with bathroom lighting and shower head, rectified next day by owners. wouldn't have fancied doing any cooking as pans grim, and oven not particularly clean, could have done with egg cups as boiled eggs all we cooked due to frying pan not fit for purpose.

Lovely little caravan to stay in for a week whilst working nearby. Slightly isolated but only a small walk to shops nearby if necessary, would be perfect during the summer months.
