5 minutes walk to a wonderful beach in one direction and 5 minutes the other way to a proper pub. Local people incredibly lovely. Loads of places to walk our dog.

The cottage was great and the location near the beach was ideal. It was very well equipped for our weeks holiday to Spittal. We found the local people very friendly when we were out and about.

The Television which is a smart tv the same as our own at home offered nothing except BBC channels which the owner was aware off as I spoke to her on the phone. This was quite dissapointing as after being out walking and sightseeing all day it would be nice to have the choice of some television in the evening. I think this should be addressed as soon as possible.

The location was absolutely brilliant ,the beautiful beach was only 30 mts away from the front door , the cottage exceeded our expectations , very cosy indeed , very clean and well equipped throughout , the building itself is very eye catching and beautifully restored , we will most likely come again one day ,

The tv I couldn’t find a lot of channels and the overflow on the bath needs attention , but please be sure this is minor , didn’t reflect on our holiday at all

No direct access to the garden from the cottage, required to go into lane first. Minor point which didn't cause difficulty though.

Beautiful, interesting cottage - very close to the beach - cosy and comfortable. Only 25mins walk into Berwick on Tweed, and lots of lovely walks along the coastal path.

The oven! All temperatures had worn off the switches, so guess work to use.

Clean. Smart. High standard. Very close to fantastic beach with distant views across to Holy Island and Bamburgh castle.
