Harrys Hideout

The property was lovely. It could not have been better.

The morning we were leaving, a cleaning lady arrived who was so incredibly rude it not only ruined our trip (as she upset the children so much) but made me wish I had not booked the property at all.

Harry's Hideout is positioned in an ideal spot. You want the beaches; they're there. You want restaurants; they're right there. You want a hub, for an east/west coastal walk, or maybe some art galleries/shops, pubs... etc, etc. It couldn't be better. It's also just far enough away from the tourists, so you get privacy. HH is modern inside, tastefully decorated, possesses all the mod-cons, and above all, is comfortable. We had a very enjoyable stay there. And a rating of 7.2? Are you kidding?There's no way this place deserves that. It was a home-from-home, and I wouldn't hesitate to book it again.

Fantastic location, a stones throw from the beach.

No outside space, it would’ve been perfect if it had a little garden or patio. Also very uncomfortable mattress & pillows.

The £200 damage deposit wasn’t advertised at booking.com and when they told me about it, I’ve already paid for the rent. I could not take it back. Also, it will take two weeks for them to refund the money back which means paying the interest rate for my credit card.I feel this is like robbery or a hold up. There has been lack of transparency in the process. And I felt trapped. This is not value for money. I rang Cornish Riviera who wasn’t empathic at all and wasn’t reassuring. They preached about the small text in the property’s website which were not highlighted at booking.com. The staff was not helpful at all. I won’t recommend this place. The stress of it all isn’t worth it,
